Sabrina Virgo was a political activist and writer in Los Angeles, where she had been active in civil rights struggles since the 1960s. She was a Jessie Jackson delegate in 1984 and 1988; she served on the Rainbow Coalition’s national Board of Directors. Virgo remained a political activist until her death in 2020.
