Paula Rabinowitz is Professor Emerita of English at the University of Minnesota, where she taught courses on 20th-century American literature and film and materialist-feminist theory. In 2014, she published the award-winning book, American Pulp: How Paperbacks brought Modernism to Main Street and co-edited the four-volume series. Habits of Being. Into the Image: Essays on Film, Photography, Painting, Video, Installation will be published by Brill in its Historical Materialism book series in 2027.
