Chude Pam Allen is author of Free Space, a Perspective on the Small Group in Women’s Liberation. She collaborated with Robert Allen on Reluctant Reformers: Racism and Social Reform Movements in the United States, writing the chapter on the women’s suffrage moement. She is a founding member of the Bay Area Veterans of the Rights Movement. She has been an activist since her involvement in the southern freedom movement in the 1960s.
