Carolina Bank Muñoz is associate professor of sociology at Brooklyn College of the City University of New York. Muñoz’s work focuses on immigration, globalization, work and Latin America. She is the author of Transnational Tortillas: Race, Gender and Shop Floor Politics in Mexico and the United States.
