Bill V. Mullen is a professor of English and American Studies at Purdue University. His most recent book is James Baldwin: Living in Fire (Pluto Press, 2019). He is a member of the Organizing Collective for the United States Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel and a member of DSA.
