Val Moghadam

Valentine M. Moghadam is Professor of Sociology and International Affairs, Northeastern University, Boston. Born in Iran and the author of many publications, her areas of research include globalization, transnational social movements and feminist networks, and gender, politics, and development in the Middle East and North Africa. In addition to a longstanding association with ATC’s advisory board, Val is an activist with Massachusetts Peace Action and former board member, and a member of WILPF.
