Susan Spronk is now director of the School of International Development and Global Studies at the University of Ottawa. Her research looks at the experience of development in Latin America, specifically the impact of neoliberalism on the transformation of the state and the rise of anti-privatization movements in the Andean region. She is also interested in alternative development in all of its forms.
