Sheila Michaels has recorded more than 90 oral histories of activists in CORE, SNCC and the peace movement that are on file at Columbia, Mississippi’s State Oral History Archives at Hattiesburg and at Washington University in St. Louis. She is a Bible scholar, journalist and cabbie whose hobby is jewelry design.
