Ronald Grigor Suny is a professor of political science at the University of Michigan and an expert on the national question in the Caucasus. He has written on that issue in The Making of the Georgian Nation and Looking Toward Ararat: Armenia in Modern History. He has also written The Soviet Experiment and The Young Stalin.
