Ron Daniels was a leading organizers of Jessie Jackson’s Rainbow Coalition. He went on to run for U.S. president as an independent in 1992. Subsequently he served on the organizing committee for the Million Man March and was the executive director of the Center for Constitutional Rights. He is president of the Institute of the Black World 21st Century (IBW), a progressive, African centered, action-oriented Resource Center.
