Richard Roman is associate professor emeritus of sociology at the University of Toronto, associate fellow of the Centre for Research on Latin America and the Caribbean, York University and a member of the Socialist Project. He is co-author with Edur Velasco Arregui of Continental Crucible: Big Business, Workers and Unions in the Transformation of North America (PM and Fernwood, 2nd edition, 2015).
