Jack M. Bloom is chair of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Indiana University Northwest. He is the author of Class, Race and the Civil Rights Movement (originally published in 1987) and Seeing Through the Eyes of the Polish Revolution (Haymarket Books, 2014).
