Dot Peters, a comrade and friend of both Alice Peurala and Steve Zeluck, was a former Chicago union activist. She was an inplant organizer for the Amalgamated Clothing Workers and later inplant and on-staff organizer for the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU-CIO). She and Alice shared a major portion of their personal and family, as well as their political, lives. Dot Peters later moved to New York City where she taught in the public school system.
