Daniel Singer was a socialist writer and journalist. He was best known in the United States for his articles in The Nation and The Economist. He was particularly focused on analyzing mass upsurges such as the 1968 French worker-student revolt and the Polish worker rebellion. He was the author of several books, including Whose Millennium: Theirs or Ours?
