Cynthia G. Franklin is Professor of English at the University of Hawai’i, and coeditor of the journal Biography. Her most recent book is Narrating Humanity: Life Writing and Movement Politics from Palestine to Mauna Kea (Fordham UP, 2023). She worked on the American Studies Association as well as MLA Academic Boycott campaign, and is a cofounding member of Students and Faculty for Justice in Palestine at the University of Hawai‘i and of JVP-Hawai‘i.
