Catherine Samary is an economist and former lecturer at the University of Paris Dauphine and Institute of European Studies. She is a specialist on the former Yugoslav self-management experiment. Samary has been a member of the French radical left and of feminist and anti-racist associations since the 1960s. She is a member of the Fourth International and a member of the scientific council of the French ATTAC.
