Brenda Y. Rodriquez is a San Diego native with Mexican roots. After living in Detroit, Michigan for four years, she now lives in the predominantly Mexican neighborhood of San Jose, California where she has become involved within the community with MAiZ. She remains an advocate for disability rights through her involvement with Michigan Disability Rights Coalition as a bilingual woman with disabilities.
