Yihwa Kim

Yihwa Kim fled South Korea because of domestic and sexual violence at the hands of her father and his friends. Seeking asylum in the United States, she was detained. That December, after being denied the right to a bond hearing and her continued imprisonment, she withdrew her application and was forced to return to South Korea.
