Konstantina M. Karageorgos

Konstantina M. Karageorgos specializes in 20th century African American literature. She received her PhD from the University of Michigan and wrote her dissertation on “Beyond the Blueprint: Episodes of African-American Literary Marxist in the Period of the Cold War,” where she traced the formal contours of non-orthodox forms of Marxist literary expression produced during the Cold War in the work of Richard Wright (1908-1961), Sarah E. Wright (1928-2009) and Rose Gay (1922-2012).
