Brian Meeks is the author of Critical Interventions in Caribbean Politics and Theory, (2014), Envisioning Caribbean Futures: Jamaican Perspectives (2007) and Caribbean revolutions and revolutionary theory: An assessment of Cuba, Nicaragua and Grenada (1993). He teaches in the Department of Africana Studies at Brown University.
